Q:  Are you a member of the Minnesota Green Party.

A: Yes. I just became an official member. I've been an environmental legislator, activist and entrepreneur for over 30 years. And I've supported Green Party candidates.

Q: What is your position on the Iraq War?

A: The same as Barack Obama. However, I'm not a pacifist by any sense. Republicanism (a conservatism with a corrupt economics and military sales agenda) has basically controlled our political process since Jimmy Carter. While Islamic radicals are truly inhuman and uncivilized according to most "civilized" human standards - even the neo cons don't advocate killing people just because they don't worship Islam - our policies and support of dictatorial oil kingdoms and military buyers has caused hatred of the US that will last hundreds of years. We have no choice but to protect innocent bystanders of that basic conflict. However, the Afghanistan war is unfortunately not about saving those people and "getting" Osama, or proper, social justice "Nation Building" as it could be done. It is about military and geo political power positioning by the neo cons.

That being said I'm looking forward to hearing from Green Party members and others about what we should have done after 911 or what we should do to stop global terrorism toward us or innocent people. It is not as simple as "Get us out of Iraq". There are decent human beings there and we destroyed their country and safety from many sides of militants. The war was wrong, is wrong, but letting thousands upon thousands of more innocents die and be enslaved because we want to be liberally correct isn't right either.

Q: Did you run for President in 2004 under the party name of Christian Freedom Party and why?

 A: Yes and proudly so. It was a campaign directed at exposing the right wing christian control of republicanism. It was a highly efficient, targeted and effective political experiment to see if we could get soft supporters of Bush, and anti-Kerry voters, to vote for a conservative sounding "Christian" party. And it worked. We garnered 3000 signatures and 3000 votes for less then 50 cents per vote!
